X2 on Joe's comment. Looks like it's just a great car. Bet you could hop in it tomorrow and it'd take you anywhere you wanted to go. And you don't see it everywhere, but everyone that does knows its clean and cool.

  3. Thanks Lucas! Yeah me and my wife put about 60 Miles on it Saturday Night. Yeah it ran very well, lots of Torque.

  4. Went on eBay and found a nice 1961 Oldsmobile F-85 Standard Steering Wheel in a brown color to match my dash and found a Horn Button Assembly on Auto Parts Obsolete in a pewter color to match my lower dash, door panels and seats. The small steering wheel assembly that I had installed was a workout when driving and turning due to the car not having P/S. Plus the aftermarket steering wheel assembly did not have the roll pin option on it to cut the turn signals off after turning and this one does like the factory intended it too.

  7. Well I have changed my Steering Wheel Assembly once again, the Original Steering Wheel as well as the last 2 that I have put on I sold on eBay.

This one I got Custom Made from a Company on-line called CON2R. I used a Polished Hub with a 2" Polished Spacer.

I also put in a Bench Seat Console.

Cool looking wheel. Obviously it was your choice, but I would not have sold the original.

  12. I put on a new Polished Aluminum Flat Top Air Cleaner Lid. The Chrome Domed one that I had on there was touching the bottom of the hood.

I have debated if I should black out the white walls or not. Please let me know your thoughts...

    Dang Pat,
I must’ve been sleeping under a rock because I never saw this post before. What a beautiful car! The work you have done, and the additions you have added to it make it sparkle. I’ll have to stop by and check it out in person this summer. I hope you and your family are doing great! Have an awesome day Pat!!!
