1965 GS factory 4spdca

Calif. black plate car. Factory A/C 4 spd. Center console and consolette. Been in dry inside storage for the last 35 years or more. NOM. It has a LX Super Wildcat in it. The car is solid complete and rust free. Needs a total restoration. I had it running off a gas can so I know the motor is not frozen. Located in Cleveland Ohio. Asking 10,000 and it can be delivered to BG.

I'd love to have it. unfortunately transporting a non running car right now seems like it would be a difficult task to get done.

Just curious,.. the carb setup was a dealer installed option correct? None were factory equipment in the GS

 

It wasn't a option on the Skylark GS' that i know of. Could you have a dealer install one back in 65,I'am sure you could. It has a LX coded motor which is correct for 65 but most likely came from a Riviera, Wildcat or Electra. This car should of had a LR coded motor although some came with MT codes.

 

Ahh ok someone plucked it out of a wadded up Riv,...would be a nice one to use as a beater
