I have a set of 1967 430 large port cylinder heads that I'm selling. Less then 5000 miles on them after V-job. Had them cleaned up and checked out. NO Cracks, Vac check on valves, they seal good. TA 1435 Springs. Casting # 1382985 1382983 $700.00 Pick up, or I can ship for added cost for boxing and shipment. Payment by US Postal Money Order Only or cash.

What are the date codes cast in the heads. Looking for late D or early E codes.

There is a m-23 on one head and a a-6 on the other. Is this the date code? I know by the casting#s that they are 1967 large port heads.

Thanks those are the date codes. 67 heads also do not have the machined area on top of the center exhause runners for the heat riser that all 68 to 72 heads for the warm air tube to the air filter housing.

    Thanks for checking.

So these are the 67 large port heads, just not the later ones that you are looking for? Thanks

The casting numbers are for both 67 and 68 heads. The A is for Jan 6 and the M is for Dec 23.

I would need a close up picture of the top of the center exhause runners to see if they have the machined area with the 2 tapped bolt holes for the heat riser. If it has that they would been 68 heads and if not then 67 heads.

I need D or E dated codes heads. Late April early May.

  8. one head is a 67 with A.I.R passages for california cars, the other looks to be a different head. intake port dividers look a bit thick for big port heads but it's hard to tell from the pics. both look to be 67 heads

  9. I will pass on these, thanks for the information. r/ Erik:bglasses:

The last person had to pass on these, so... I still have them, I will be attending the 2001 BPG nationals on Saturday so I can bring them along if anyone is interested. Thanks!

I'll be at BPG on Saturday also, interested in the heads.

What all was done to them 5000 miles ago? Decking, new guides, etc.

    Thanks,

    Mark

PS - do you have the rocker arms and shafts from these heads?

They had a complete valve job 5000 miles ago. Had everything check again before I put them up for sell, and all is good.
