I have a '67 Electra with Auto A/C that isn't working. Got the service manual for auto a/c but it says it is for the second type. How do I tell if the car has the first or the second type of auto a/c? Any ideas what the difference is between the two versions?

My 68 had the ACC system and could never get it to work right. Bought several NOS parts but after a few yrs I gave up on it and went with the standard controls. Works much better now. If your interested I have the complete set up for sale.

Thanks I'll keep it in mind. Not sure what differences there are between the '68 and '67 systems-I know the dashes are completely different. The '67 is all based on vacuum lines-I think '68 is the same.
