My 69 is white with black interior. It really isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Toss a towel on the seat if you're gonna leave it in parked in the sun with the top down. Fold the towel up and toss it in the trunk when you come back then get rolling and enjoy the wind blowing through your hair.
Oh, I know had black seat convertible, just making a lil joke but boyyyyy when that towel moved when in shorts Woooooo weeeeeee it was fried Fritz!lol Fritzensizzlin
What's worse than anything is grabbing a seat belt buckle that didn't get covered up. Those damn things will burn clean to the bone if you're not careful.
Owner is/was convinced it is a Skylark that came from factory with the GS option. From an email with him right after it was first listed: "So I talked with my dad and he has the dealer book and it is a skylark but with the gs 400 package that u could order. it was originally red in color painted pearl white but everything on the car is the gs 400. U are more than welcome to look at it or whatever.. and go from there. The skylark only came with a 300 engine and had different seats ,brakes ,hood,grill,chasy. Like I said before back then u orderd the car how u wanted it. Not like today where there is 100 diff models of each brand. Everything on it is gs 400.. engine is 400 cubic inches.. im telling u it has the 400 package believe it or not."

I dont thick so..... order a lark then put all the GS trinkets on it.. and not order the disk brakes. Would have been much cheaper to order a GS400 and have the dealerships body shop put the Skylark side molding on it....
