Why do some people think that paint and rust repair are trivial especially when asking a premium price ? ? ?
If it needs ANY paint & rust repair then it isn’t “excellent “! Absofreakinloutely, drives me nuts! Would also be nice to see pictures of the actual rust and the trunk after seeing the misaligned trim,lenses and chrome looking like they were cleaned with 80 grit sandpaper I am sure they don’t look too damn good. Around that junky,broken trunk latch with rusted fastener, I can also see moisture bubbles in the paint (the next “excellent rust”). Very poor amateur restoration even from the pictures. Be lucky to get 20k for it AFTER dumping about 10k more in it. 25k “or much more” he needs to pinch himself,dreaming.
In a rare SUPER bad mood today so got to ask...what the hell is wrong with that drivers side bucket seat looking through the back window in picture #14? See how low it is sitting on the right side (follow the instrument cluster line compared to top of the seat & try and ignore the equally crappy seat recovering). I guess the biggest clue in the whole ad is absence of mention of an appraiser evaluation over his “collectors” who pumped him up on this cars value. Maybe he is just a real nice guy and they wanted to let him down easy even with that “gawd AWFUL” worlds ugliest steering wheel. Seen forklifts with prettier wheels lol
