Can anyone give me a tip on removing the clock from the bezel? I got to the two screws in the back. My problem is removing the adjustment knob from the shaft. It just keeps spinning. SOS. Thanks!
You have to secure the shaft with small needle nose plyers and then unscrew the knob. I did it by putting a piece of carboard against the plastic lens of the speedo to prevent scratching it and pulling the knob, then grabbing with plyers. (I have done this on the 64-68 smaller "square" clocks, but I thing the round clocks would be the same).
Hi TrunkMonkey. Thanks for the response. I did try that. I secured the shaft with a needle nose plier but the knob just turns and turns. It won’t unscrew off the shaft.
There's a tiny allen key in the centre of the knob on some models. Also, if not there, look on the sides of the knob. Sometimes they have an allen-key set screw on the side.
