    All,

My passenger fender is way higher than my door, even with no shims at the top bolt.
My door could be adjusted a bit higher, but not enough to meet the fender.

I am not sure how to adjust this?

    thanks

Start by going through the procedure in the Chassis Service Manual for the front end sheetmetal as Matt said too.

Your gap at the top is much wider than the bottom. Fixing that will help the alignment & the appearance (you may have to shim the core support). Once that's done you might wind up having cut the spotwelds on that seam to get it perfect.

The doors need to be adjusted first to the body (quarters, rockers, etc). Be sure to take into account any missing weight (glass, etc.). Don't adjust the doors to the front end sheetmetal.

Thanks for that reminder, Dano. I need to fix the gaps on my GS, and you may have saved me from some frustration.

James - I'm no expert, but you raise the front to lower the rear. Dano mentioned the core support - that's why. Try lifting the front of the fender an see if that helps. After you get the door right...:)

    All,

Thanks for the responses, I will make sure I fit the door first, then check out the core support.
