I'm moving on to other projects and have decided it is time to say goodbye to my '69 GS400. I have done a lot of mechanical work to the car over the past 5 years or so, and it is in very good mechanical shape. It is currently a very nice driver quality car and is very reliable. Always starts. Never been stuck in it. It is at the point where it needs paint, rubbers a few panels aligned and a refresh on the interior. From a mechanical perspective, all it really needs is a fuel sending unit (fuel gauge is off by about 1/2 tank), the clock repaired and a very small drip from the water pump gasket repaired.

I have a very long list of updates, fixes, replacements that I have done since I have the car. Numbers matching engine and TH400 (rebuilt with performance clutch packs and sprag), and has a new high rpm torque converter. The list of what else I have replaced and rebuilt is huge and I am happy to share that with anyone who is serious about the car. A small list is PS pump and had steering gear rebuilt/upgraded by carhex, quadrajet built by QuadrajetPower, new aluminum radiator, new brass heater core, new power top hydraulics, new suspension and steering components, new brake lines, new shocks, rebuilt and recurved distributor, pertronix flamethrower III ignition, new stage I fuel pump and a bunch of other stuff. Prior to my purchase an owner had the engine rebuilt and bored .030 over. Has ported heads and TA Performance roller rockers.

Front bumper was dinged by a prior owner which is why the fender, bumper and hood need to be realigned. The current front bumper has a dent in it which can easily be straightened, but I have another very good quality front bumper (no dents, no rust, etc.) that I will sell with the car (it is currently not for sale separately). I just never got around to doing it.

Paint looks good from 10' but in the interest of full disclosure, it does need to be painted if you want to show the car.

    Car currently has about 73,400 miles on it PXL_20220710_161238659.jpg PXL_20220710_161252650.jpg PXL_20220710_161407872.jpg PXL_20220710_161433680.jpg PXL_20220710_161507719.jpg PXL_20220710_161516173.jpg PXL_20220710_161525726.jpg PXL_20220710_161614068.jpg PXL_20220710_161802051.jpg PXL_20220710_161853672.jpg PXL_20220710_162824188.jpg PXL_20220710_162839371.jpg . Lots of what I believe are original parts.

    Asking $28k.
