I agree George. Real 4 speed rag top at the least warrants price. Car has no docs I provided. Is a 69. Was a street car it’s whole life not a sheltered show car.

A more fun aside than money, the car was fast!! Went 13.30 spinning through the 60 foot. I had put no hop bars and air bags but did t help. Tuned this car a lot. Had a quad and iron manifolds on it. Had a crane fireball cam in it. That’s how old the build is.

Mike B's was a numbers, solid, original southern car. That thick red paint is hiding reality. 9 Chi town winters. Strip to metal and we'll revise if necessary.

I would run too! Unless it was 20 or less. Then I would drive the snot out of it. To each his own.

    I’ll
Post some pics. Car was solid. Getting a little offended that you think I put together a piece of ****? Have you seen any of my work?

Most people that buy and don’t build understand the pride that goes into bringing them back. All good

I saw the car on ebay and recalled it being Tony's car and his ad from 2002-ish, hence why I posted it here.. As we do not see too many 69 Stage1 4 speeds.

The pictures on ebay were limited... Based on Patrick's block VIN picture, I looked at Hemmings and found the ad:

    https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/buick/gran-sport/2460358.html

It looks like it has been "enjoyed" and driven, which is good.

Very rare car to begin with. Probably only a hand full left with numbers block. Would be happy to have it anyway.

Probably 70 pics. None in bare metal
Only primer. When I got it it was wearing original paint. Doors, fenders, deck lid were replaced due to damage or rust. I wouldn’t have spent my time restoring a **** box 20 years ago. They were t worth much then

I never said the car was crap. My concern was with the seller.
