This is a restored complete piece. It was media blasted, 100% rust free, primed and painted with correct gloss lid, all new AC Thermal switch, screws, foam seals, filter, vacuum hoses, decals, and wing nut. Snorkel was not blasted or refinished, No cracks or broken repairs. It’s an original piece and does has blemishes but perfect for a really nice driver, bolt on and go. $750 + shipping. Located in KC area for pickup too.
Pitting, only can be seen in a few few spots after the media blasting, mainly on the bottom of the snorkels of the metal base. Installed it doesn’t show, also the lid has a couple but very minor, like I said for a very nice driver/ show car it’s perfectly suited.
I knew you would sell it, it was in excellent shape maybe restored but for 54 years old and a good price I have seen them for $1,500 people don't under stand just don't under stand.
To think at one time I had 9-10 70-72 complete air cleaners. I should have held on to them as I got anywhere from 50-150 for them. But, they were more available in the late 80's to 90's That sure is a nice unit though...
