This authentic 70 GSX 455 with 54,600 miles is an original North Carolina car. Very nice body off restoration started around 2010 when it was brought from North Caronia. This car has had a complete rotisserie body off restoration, media blasted with beautiful professional paint and body work. NO rubberized undercoating on the floors to hide anything. This car was not a rust bucket, 1970 correct core support, fenders, Ect. Original windshield, back glass and all but one side glass. It did have both rear qtrs. replaced with GM NOS quarters, NOT aftermarket.... Original GM Buick grille, fan shroud 1233000, etc. The AC blows cold, wipers work, lights work, ect. Original reconditioned GSX tach, Not a reproduction. The AM/FM radio with front & rear speaker were reconditioned and the radio was updated to play from anything with the 1/8"/ 3.5 mm connector jack. Cell phone, iPod, CD player, Sirius, XM, etc. The only thing that I know that does not work is the original 24 hr clock. It has less than 2000 miles since body off restoration, at that time engine, trans, suspension, brakes, shocks, exhaust, etc were all rebuilt or replaced. Bumpers rechromed and interior reconditioned. Options: GSX package, hood tachometer, AC, Auto, Tilt, Am/Fm, rear speaker, bucket seats with console, gauges, 24 Hr clock, power disc brakes, power steering, positraction rear end, tinted glass. front spoiler, rear spoiler, Rally Ride (F41) and more. To help clarify this GSX has a 1970 SF code 455 370 HP engine. The non matching engine and non matching GS transmission were professionally rebuilt, and if you look at the engine casting numbers and dates below it is early enough to be date correct replacement. I thought it was a later # but I never had a Wayne Roberts report on it. You may have sent me a copy. Despite that, I think Wayne has made out better than anyone on that car, lol. Nelson has persevered through a frustrating experience but it should be back to it's original glory before long. I have few regrets in life but one is having ever taken this car apart but I was young, dumb, &.... It drove fantastically despite it's looks (was way worse than it appears in this pic) and the horrible smell of the interior. A friend & I even had a fleeting thought of putting it back together as-is in the late '80's & taking it to the Nationals.
Just to be clear (Nelson, I'll delete my post if you want &/or it causes any confusion), the car I pictured is NOT the one Nelson currently has for sale. Presumably the one he has for sale started out much nicer. The one I pictured is his other GSX that is nearing completion.

Mike, Yes you are correct. No problem Dan, all is good.. I was going to take this car to Mecum Kissimmee this last Jan but I had some unexpected health issues pop up.
Dan, As we have talked, I have gone to extreme measures to find rust free original 1970 front sheet metal and correct parts for your old car. The body and paint are being done by a perfectionist friend of mine and I expect it to be beautiful when finished. I ordered all new Legendary interior for it. I will also be adding p Seat, PW, PL and trunk release. Exhaust stainless, hotchkis springs and Bilstein shocks. I am tossing around rather to install the new MT headers or the stock manifolds.
