Supposed to have disc brakes but looks like a drum master and No hold off valve.. Sport mirrors on a 70>>>> It would need to be looked at.
Per the car's dash tag it's original color is Burnished Brown and per the California seller's listing of having Power Disc Brakes the car actually has Power Drum. I have also seen a copy of certificate of title going back to 1977 from the State of Ohio.
There was an article on the internet back in November, 2021 where at the end of the article it stated if you want to own this car it is currently for sale on Craig's list for $44,000 O.B.O. Followed some leads and it turned up for sale by a different owner running a business selling/flipping cars on eBay. I was the successful bidder however when it came down to the final steps of purchase things seemed kind of shady so unless the seller completely straightens out his act I'm putting that purchase on hold however am still Leary of dealing with them due to their past behavior and bullying/threatening tactics.
Forgot to mention the car was listed as having Posi where it turned out it did not and even though one of the posted pictures showed the odometer at 39,000 miles the description stated 31,000 miles.
Definitely the same car, I have been following it. I believe the current dealer (Louie Lamb) had many accusations of shady things when they ran their previous dealership, Kompact Kar Korner in Lynnwood.
And this is what seems confusing to me as before getting too involved with this transaction I contacted at least five different Washington State government offices including DMV who referred me to (DOL), the Better Business Bureau, Dealer Investigations, Consumer Protection Division within the Attorney General's office and The Consumer Fraud and Scam line (however not sure if this one is within the State of Washington or a general department that covers all of the U.S.). None had any record of complaints against Re Tired Classics so thought it safe to proceed (not saying they were on the up and up as perhaps if any of their customers got stung they may have just not reported it). Just received another voice mail from someone identifying themselves as Kent Chaplin and being Louis Lamb's business partner requesting a callback stating Louis has contracted Covid. Last week in a voicemail from the same person he was the one who stated it is illegal to alter/change a contract and what I have done is against the Law asking why I would do so such a thing as well stating Louis wishes to take this further.

Just read over the two negative reviews about Kompact Kar Korner. The more detailed one was very informative with a justifiable reason for leaving the minimum 1 star Yelp review. The second 1 star review seemed more of a complaint about waiting 20 minutes with no one approaching them before they walked out and made a remark about Kompact Kar Korner being racist.
