I am in line to buy one. Currently have a Holley 650 CFM 0-80555C on my mildy built 72 350 (crower level 3 cam, v6 flat top pistons, probably 9.5 :1 compression, 2.5 dual exhaust H-pipe). Was thinking of going back to q jet as I like the mechanical secondaries.... am I upgrading, downgrading, or staying the same by going to the 1970 GS 350 Q jet?

    Thanks

The 70 350 Quadrajet, 7040244 would be capable of 750 cfm.
When you get one properly built and tuned, the Quadrajet is excellent for fuel economy, cruising, and all out performance.
    Upgrade in my opinion.
