This is a 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1 survivor. Documented by Wayne Roberts. It is an automatic with the 455 Stage 1 motor Only 19,000 actual miles. The paint appears all original with some touch ups. A very rare car and if you are interested you know the details. Call Glenn at 405-640-8077

For 135k, you would think the AC would be hooked up and the Underhood decals would be there. Looks like newer hoses and clamps too. And what is that on the floor pan above the cross member?!

Are you talking about the body plug?

I think so but it looks to be mangled? May just be the pic? I was looking at the spray painted trans and tag covered too. It just seems strange that with so many knowledgeable people on this board that the car hasn’t been talked about before

The body plug is not mangled, what you are seeing is where the body sealant has leaked down before it dried. They are all like that. There are a few things that are not original, like the non-bleeder master cylinder, but it is being advertised as a survivor car and not as an un-touched original car. The rad might also be a replacement or one of the 72-later style. It's hard to see from the angle of the picture.............and yes it has the 70 California emissions.

It would be interesting to see this car in person.

Yeah, why would the radiator cover decal be gone? Mine was still there after over 100K and 2000 qtr passes and hitting a deer at 70mph.....

I know the owners (she is a board member) and saw the car at the BCA Nats in OKC last month. As the ad stated, it has had some paint work as well as some mechanical work done to it. They bought it at a local auction a few years ago.

I thought mine was a low mileage survivor with 44k. Thats less than half the milage mine has. I'm surprised the stripes an hood are gloss black. Seems they would have still been flat black.

Things are not what they look like...The trans has been rebuilt and the ID tag has been ruined. The radiator has been replaced, what happened to the tower clamps? The car is very worn looking for the claimed miles.. And the part that disputes low miles Survivor, look at the brake pedal pad ,, worn to snot on both sides. That would take a lot of talking to meet that price !!!!!!!

Not likely,, I also saw it at BCA Nationals. I only tried to buy the Bamboo Cream 1970 Stage 1 but was shot down in flames..

They are all “Survivors” if they aren’t crushed yet.

Since we’re picking it apart, the grille has been incorrectly painted.
