Got my car back together with the new BMR control arms, QA1 suspension, Wilwood brakes, 8.5 rear axle and 3.42 gears. Put as set of 18x9.5 rear and 18x8 fronts.

I have to get some smaller tires for the front because they're rubbing when I turn. I have 235 50 18...I just ordered some 235 40 18.

Nice lark. How much difference does the bigger tires and suspension mods make for handling? I like the Ridlers, just got a set the same size for my 1970 GS. I hope my 255/45s for the front don't rub. Only slightly smaller than yours. I won't know for a while since I am re-doing the car right now.

It's like night and day. It's not even the same car. I absolutely love it. I haven't had a whole lot of time behind the wheel but I'd say it handles as good if not better than my 07 Grand Prix GXP. The car feels like a much smaller car now.

If you still have the stock suspension you should be fine. If it's lowered I think the ideal size is 40.

Thanks. I recognize yours from the FB Buick page. I hope to have mine as nice as yours one of the days. Paint & body is getting close though!
