It will run better when he hooks up all the plug wires. :3gears: I'd like to see some picts of the vert, now that it is done. I was hoping Joe would have posted some pictures as he did with the green one, when he did that one. Any way you cut it you got a couple of real beauties there Chris.

When you started this thread Jim, we were very worried he wouldn't get it, as it then became "known" to a lot more potential buyers who probably wouldn't have seen it on Craigslist otherwise. Just luck of the draw that he was close enough to get it, as the owner wanted to deal with someone face to face.

Didn't know Chris was looking......or I'd would have called him directly. I'm just glad it went to someone who will enjoy it and treat it right. Buick people don't come much nicer than Chris.

He wasn't looking. When I first emailed him about it he said " I don't need any more projects". I told him to get off his a$$ and go look at it anyway, and look what happened, lol!

Sometimes people don't know what they want until you put it in front of them. You have to help them understand that they really want. At least that is what the crack spider says. :bla:

    Chris,

First and foremost, CONGRATS on the deal of the century! Wow!!

I had seen the first couple posts in this thread when it first started and obviously never checked back to see how things transpired.

During a phone conversation with a board member earlier today, he mentioned this car, so I had to come back and check it out. I'm glad I did.

I'm pretty partial to the 72's but to echo what Pat Harmon said above, I very well may kill to have this car and would drive it as often as humanly possible.

Again, congrats and good luck! :3gears:

Since I've recently acquired what could be considered a twin to this car, I'm curious as to what became of it and where it ended up.

Chris sold it to a guy up in Ohio by me who is well known in collector car circles and then it sold and went out of state, maybe Michigan, but im not positive!

    Yup.

My recent acquisition has made mine an inquiring mind.
