I know the car and the guy who owns it. Interior is all original. It is in nice shape. He didn't drive it much. He trailered it to Lebanon Valley for Muscle Palooza once and got some award. He is a member here, but I forget his "handle". He's a nice guy. I've sold him a few small things for it.

I like it - Though was black @ first. Yet another one where I surprisingly like the look for the front bumper guards - Wasn't going to put them on my car but...

I think for that car ('71, Std. 455, #'s matching, buckets/console, well optioned, recently painted, etc) it's about right assuming the workmanship is good. If I was in the market I'd definitely be checking it out @ that price.

Dano, I thought it was black at first too.

Not to disrespect anyone, but I think its a little high. Not higher than Willy Nelson, but high. I paid about that for my 70 Stage, so maybe that's why I see it as such. Like Dano said, depends on how nice the car is, its hard to tell just from the interwebz.

I like this car, it ticks most of my boxes. Does anyone familiar with the car know if there is documentation asserting that it is a 455 GS? This is an issue for me and 1971 cars.

That may be. Lol. Ironically, the only two '71 GS's I've owned were both Burnished Cinnamon.

No disrespect:). Would definitely depend on a lot. Could just as easily be a $25k car depending on the details.

It's supposedly #'s matching so that'd be proof enough to show it's an original 455 car. As far as the options, yes.

I like this car a lot. Just no money for a car right now. The price seems a little high but if you are the seller, you can always go down. Better to start too high than too low.

Interesting to see the hand written note on there.

Of course a window sticker, dealer invoice, or GM of Canada docs would verify it too. I have the dealer invoice on my '71 GS 350 convertible and it's one of the few I've seen where the dealer didn't list the options of course.

I am possibly interested in this car but I do not have Facebook. The contact info does not appear in his ad. If the owner is on this board watching please PM me with your contact info. Thanks.

If I recall correctly, he bought the car out of Ohio. It had some racing history as it has a line lock. It is a original 455 car.
