a friend's Brother recently passed, and has his 72 Skylark to sell. Here's what I know about the car, coming from his friend/engine builder. Hunts in Schenectady did the machine work . Basic rebuild 455 , I believe .030 over with a mild hyd cam . Stock intake @ quadrajet , stock cast iron exhaust manifolds . T350 W / Shift kit . 10 bolt with 3:55 or 3:73 gears . With street tires on a good day it ran mid 13s . Floors and trunk are good . He cheap out with the body work and paint . Lower 1/4s have rusted through and the body is humble but not awfull . Radiator core support where it bolts to the frame needs attention . Front bench seat is rough , but the door panels , rear seat are decent . Carpet junk . As the old saying says , it does have good bones . I told him I'd get the word out. Working on figuring a fair price for him. feel free to reach out if interested.
You might try taking it to the Albany Buick Club show on June 17 at Goldstein's in Colonie. UticaGeoff
