Wow, I didn't know they were still doing manuals 'on the tree' in 73.

Out of curiosity, anybody familiar with this Doug Anderson? I assume he's a Buick engine builder.

And a rubber floor matt, I would have thought those were not available in 73. As usual, that's what I get for thinking.

It's old and they crack. That one is pretty bad probably because the car is in New Mexico.

Very cool car. Wrong side of the country, as usual.

Wow, that's about as basic as they come. Would be a neat car to drive, and at least convert to a floor shift, or toss a rock crusher in there...

That looks like an earlier model “Bat Wing” steering wheel but no expert on 73’s

That's gotta be pretty rare - Hard to believe they put the engineering time/effort into making them. Wasn't aware 3-on-the-tree, batwing wheel, or a full rubber mat in lieu of carpet were even avail. Yet someone ordered chrome wheels, a 4BBL & A/C (NM so maybe a necessity). I don't see a PS pump either. Wouldn't be surprised if it has a posi and optional gear ratio.

    Clean looking car.

Interesting car but I can think of alot of other stuff I would want to throw that money at. I would bet the wheels were added later in life like 90% of the Buicks out there

I was just going by what the ad says but you're probably correct. Where the heck did all these wheels come from given so few came w/them, lol?

Well they used the same basic wheel for so many years other than a few changes And a lot of the ones you see are not necessarily correct for the year they are on. There is still lots of GS’s, SkylarkRegLs over the years Ended up in the scrapyard that may have had them

Yep, used to be able to hit almost any junkyard and pick up a nice set of Rallies in either 14” or 15” and Road Wheels for $100 a set. It’s a shame how many cars were thrown away (here in the south with no rust) because the engine or trans failed.

    Yep Patrick,
I had one place I drove by or called every month or so looking for NICE sets of 15x7’s .
When in stock it was as many sets as you could carry with caps for $50 a set!
Lucky to find caps for that these days.
Love those rubber mat cars, only owned one (a 72 Skylark) with that option.
Was perfect for care free power wash cleaning at that sometimes messy time of my life with light weights in the back seat (made them clean it though lol).

A few things are concerning. No specs with regards to rebuild. Who knows what's going on or how it runs...Aftermarket air cleaner is just the tip of the story there

Coolant tank cap is missing and the radiator cap looks like it's plugged?

Air conditioning has been completely deleted. Why?

When the seller says "needs new interior" take that literally. New dash, new steering wheel, speedo might not work, seats ripped up to hell, seats might be loose, seatbelts broken who knows.

With all this in mind, the asking price seems quite high
