I have used it. It is a coating not a rust remover.

Brent, nice work it's looking great,...

Yes it is. I mentioned it in case someone wanted to apply after taking rust off and keep the metal looking natural instead of rusting again.
I have not used it yet, how did you like it?

Those are going to bring that car to another level.

So while the tires are getting swapped today I’m taking the opportunity to start cleaning the underneath. Car still retains it’s original spiral shocks and clad lug nuts, and the factory spring tags. The Ziebart did it’s job and still looks very nice in the wheel wells. 0F5C7961-F1AF-4DB7-869C-F5DD2E185D07.jpeg 402FF080-D6B9-4E8B-B91D-6BB35750B6FC.jpeg 1E457D45-5128-4EBF-B62D-1720C48AB8B7.jpeg

What to touch and what not to touch? Tough questions when messing with a survivor.

I totally agree, but going to MCACN this year and also talking to a Judge for about an hour late Saturday night gave us a good idea of what to do and what not to do for Vintage Class and Day 2 classes.

Got the tires mounted and wheels cleaned, pretty nice for 49 year old originals.

This is a car that would be served well with a dry ice blasting session.

Yes maybe, but then I think it would leave spots needs re-finishing and then that would diminish from it being a survivor I think. It’s pretty amazing what just a rag and soapy water can do with 50 years of dirt.

Possibly. Were you as mesmerized as me at the video that was playing near your son's car? It's such a cool process.

Yup, I have always thought it’s a great alternative for sure!

So here’s a couple with all the wheel-wells cleaned and new tires mounted, looks so much better having correct tires to me…

I've been a subscriber to Hemmings Muscle Machines for about 20 years and can't recall seeing any spreads about these cars.

You might wanna reach out to the editor once you're at the point where you think you're close-ish to done with the preservation.

I think they'd jump at the opportunity to showcase this.

Hi Fernando, If you do reproduce any of the stickers I would love to get two for my Sun Coupe and the four Speed. Thanks.

Hemmings Muscle Machines did a feature article on the four speed I now own. September 2005 issue. You can look it up on the Hemmings web site by searching 1973 Buick Gran Sport. Also a single page article in Hemming Motor News in January '08
