Today was make the clock work again, I’ve learned in the past most times it’s the contacts in the clock need alittle sanding and then clean and lube everything and they’ll work, as was the case with this one, runs now nicely.

Thanks for posting that dash picture with the clock. Fernando was trying to describe the all black knobs to me a couple weeks ago. Now I understand!

Today trying to get out a pretty good door ding, slowly getting there. Amazingly it’s the only one on the entire car.

the rims on mine were the grey rough finish 15''er's and the tires were the useless uniroyal gr78-15's. the uni's were worthless on curves.
they would spin you w/out warning. bought gr70-15's fabric radials that the ct state police used. great tires for the curves.

It’s raining today so I thought I would look into the mechanicals a bit starting with the spark and timing, here’s the plugs, what are your thoughts on what’s wrong and how to solve it.??? I think alittle fuel/ air mixture off a tad if timing is right.

The car was likely not driven much. I bet if you replace the plugs, run good fuel, drive it regularly, inspect one next time you do an oil change, they will appear normal. If not, make changes at that time accordingly.

Today finished up the tune-up and then took it to the car wash put it up on ramps and washed and degreased the underside and then a once over everywhere else. The 1973-74 are very affordable, but parts are hard to find especially for the interiors. Find one and enjoy.

And the ride is far superior to the earlier a body’s. Love the black stripes you laid down.
