1978 Skylark with 58k miles - $6300

    I remember those. They were OK (relatively speaking) for the late 70s. No clue what those are worth but I'd guess the price is not too bad.

    I like the bracket on the back bumper for the CB antenna, and the bracket under the radio for the CB head unit!

    That is the original colour of my first car. My folks bought it new. My dad painted it black in 1987. The “mags” were put on it before it made it home from the dealership.

    I got it in 1990 or so. Rotted out and in the wrecking yard in 1993.

    Have seen examples of that two door body (75-79 X) in the yards in past years with near perfect bodies and metal. Codes swept through East El Paso in the early 2010's and the ones remaining, that were sitting, wound up in the pick it yards. Exploded and chalky interiors due to sun exposure. Near Zero interest in the cars, here, locally.

    Hello from Central Florida, I was wondering if you by chance had any information on the bone yards those x-body 75-79 skylarks are located. I could use some sheet metal off one. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks, Mike
