2015 Texas Buick Nationals

The date has been set for the 2015 Texas Buick Nationals.

It shall be Saturday May 9th. At the little river academy drag strip. I wouldn't call the facility state of the art but it does have a good backwoods feel. The pits have trees for shade.

Make your plans to attend if you are able. Hope to see you there.

 

Nice. I will put it on calendar and hopefully have the red car running for it.

 

Maybe the car will be running. Question is will it be street legal yet? That or haul it? And hopefully the wife doesn't kill me for trying first. Will see. Maybe just being a spectator would be worth it.

 

Good to hear that the date is a little later in the year. I may be able to make it! Not sure if I'd be bringing the car, that will be a wait and see! :TU: What part of Texas are we talking about?

 

It's just south of temple. North of Austin.

Unfortunately I will be headed to tulsa that weekend for a memorial event...

 

I just put it on the calendar. Hope to have the new toy ready so I can play before Norwalk (May 29-31).

Not the only place on the google search list but there are a bunch of places to stay. I don't have experience at any of them.

I was looking for an excuse to buy a new starter anyway, so all worked out just fine !!! :Brow::Brow:
