Just to let you folks know we finally have some 3.42 and 3.64 gears in stock. These gears are used to upgrade your 8.2 A-body rears. Posi carriers and bearing installation kit available also. I believe these gears will also fit 8.2 that are in 68-70 LeSabre. Price $559.00

Not sure how many more of these gear sets will be made in the future. I was surprised to see the 3.64 ratio.

I can vouch for this. I used parts from my '68 Skylark's rear end to put into my '68 LeSabre, both with Buick 8.2's.

Yeah but I'm not sure how often they get in on the bulk buys. Thought it was worth a shot

I think TA will get them at the same time they are available to the public. Maybe call Fabcraft for an update. Unless there are a lot of people interested in those gears, and I doubt there are enough, they aren't getting made anytime soon. You are better off replacing the entire rear with either the early BOP 8.2 10 bolt, or the 71-72 8.5 10 bolt. Either rear is plenty strong with lots of aftermarket support for gear sets and parts.

Fabcraft would like us to make a large purchase. Had a customer stop in and tell me that's what they told him. But they wanted that customer to purchase the gears directly from them. I have very mixed feelings about that. I had a hunch for years but then someone stopped by and and confirmed. We have purchased in the past only to have sales pick up when they were out. Sat on inventory for a long time. Now they would like us to purchase a lot. I have no idea how long it would take to move the product. I want to help everyone but gear set are not cheap. A lot of out lay.

Seems between you, @BrianTrick & @monzaz that it could be a pretty decent size run but then Fabcraft has to support their dealers by either not selling direct or making the price to buy direct high enough that you guys can make your markup and still be at or below their retail price. On the other hand, if you have the resources to place a large enough order, negotiate an exclusive/price to be able distribute them both wholesale to those guys and retail.
