I don’t believe so, this car was restored out in California two years ago there are a few YouTube videos on the restoration. When it was first done they were asking 200 K. Now is the time to sell though.

Well if this car is the real deal and Jim Lore's is the real deal, then there are at least 3 '70 triple black Stage 1 convertibles. I know a guy in SC that has one. He bought his brand new but his is a 4 speed.

How do you restore a car like that & get simple things like the brake pedal & radio knobs wrong and I didn't look very closely? Makes me wonder about what's below the surface.

Probably because it’s probably the first Buick GS they ever worked on.

You can spend $185,000 on a stage one convertible and still have to tweak it.

It'll sure be interesting to see what they get bid up to & if they sell (Seamist one is the auctioneer's IIRC). For whatever the amount ($500-600k?), you could possibly have the best Stage 1 convertible collection in the world all in just 2 days.

Hey I would be the first one want to say, I hope they all bring top dollar, for me it’s between the red and black stage one’s Unless the black stage one had a white roof and white gut then I’m all in.

A lot of great color combinations for a stage 1 convertible. Bittersweet mist Great color.
