I'm in the middle of a rebuild, and I'm trying to replace most of the parts with new ones. When it comes to the flywheel, what are the options? So far the only ones I've found new are from TA performance, but to be honest I don't really know what's special about a forged flywheel. What would be ideal is a heavy flywheel for more low rpm stability, imo.
There was one for sale about two years ago, maybe he still has it. It's supposedly originally from a Jeep. http://v8buick.com/index.php?threads/11-flywheel-fits-350.325818/#post-2887818 The old odd-fire V6 used a heavier flywheel. It would have to be rebalanced for your 350. I have no idea if they are available new, but there are used ones out there.
I have a Buick flywheel for jeep application. I know this post is 5 years old. Just mentioning it here in case you're still in need
