Looking for a Buick 350 timing cover and aluminum valve covers. Let me know if you have either one.

NOS, aftermarket, or used timing cover?

NOS, aftermarket or used. Tried to get a new one, but every place I have checked has them on backorder.

I just looked at the timing covers. I have 2 of them one better then the other. One is very clean the the other just needs cleaning. Also I have all the parts to make it complete and then some. Bruno.

I have what appears to be a pretty nice used one I just pulled. I'll look at it a little closer.

I have an almost new one with an assembled oil pump. It's the later v6 style with the plastic timing tab. Comes with a new water pump attached to boot

Just dug them out of the 350 aisle of the parts dept.

Sorry, I thought the oil pump was assembled. Very little time on this cover

I also have a bunch of other stuff. Rebuilt dist, rebuilt 2 GC carb, timing chain, fuel pump, choke assy.

The engine experienced a unexpected catastrophic disassembly shortly after all these new parts were installed

Honestly, while IIRC the used cover I have is pretty nice (I'll look @ tonight), this might be the OP's best option. I have 3 NOS covers (2 might be the V6 style) but with 2 engines to build upcoming (maybe 3) I'm not too inclined to sell one (in other words I doubt the OP would want to pay what it'd take to pry one away, but feel free to make an offer I can't refuse:)).

And conversely, I'd be more than happy to get rid of this stuff! Not as happy as Jen though....I keep getting called a "hoarder"....thats kinda harsh. It's all good stuff. Hey....I might own another 71 GS! What if it needs a new grill? Or headlight bezels, or a cluster, or a pad.....

I would think Jen would be accepting of all this by now. Good thing she doesn't hoard Mustang parts. I'll call you tomorrow;).

Your kidding right? She's got 2 engines clogging up my garage :D

Sorry to the OP for hijacking his want ad...

Just a warning: I got an aftermarket front cover several years ago when I was rebuilding one of my 350's from Advance Auto parts. The oil pump did not line up with the distributor correctly, putting everything in a bind... Don't remember the brand or part number, but they would not refund it because it was "used"... I had painted it when I assembled the engine...

Steve, I had one like that as well, early 2000s. SMOKED my cam sensor on my GN. Extremely tight going together, thought it was because of the oring on the sensor housing fitting into a new timing chain cover. After that, started buying new GM covers.

Looking back, probably caused other issues as well.

Here's the one I have. No broken water pump (or any) bolts. Oil & water pump housings look pretty good. $40 shipped.

I am interested, so water pump bolts are good? That's the issue with mine.

Correct - All the WP bolt holes are good. It is technically I guess a V6 or later 350 cover as it doesn't have the cast in timing marks but that timing tab should be avail. (I'll include if I have it).
