I know I asked this question but where do console equipped car owners find a lower boot for the 70 to 72?
John asks, "I know I asked this question but where do console equipped car owners find a lower boot for the 70 to 72?" When I had my two 70 4-speed Stage 1's I got the boots from Poston. I believe both Poston and Year one sold them and they came from the same supplier. They looked fine on the top surface but the bottom surface looked a little drippy, if you know what I mean. The bottom surface didn't matter as you never saw it, and the fit was fine. Duane
Michael I'll take one if you still have any. Please email me to confirm and I'll send Paypal. Thanks Pat
MIke I'll take one since you canot see it installed I will just cut the round hole for my Hurst handle. I'll check back friday and paypal you if you still have one.
you dont have to cut it, it will stretch enough to conform to the flate blade shifter...iv done it 4 or 5 times...
Does this boot in the pic look like the correct 4 speed upper console boot ?? I found this ad and it says it's for the 65-70 4 speed consolette.
Looks correct to me the small tabs match up to the pins on the consolette and it has the opening for the hurst shifter not the round muncie
