    Originally a two-tone red and white car. This grey isn't doing the lines of this car any favours, it looks rather stodgy and old fashioned. It's going to need absolutely everything redone or torn apart. So the money being asked is a bit steep; the 3 speed on a Nailhead is the only thing that makes it worth a look. Oh, yeah, not one of Buick's better years for styling in my estimation, I much prefer the 55 or 56.

    The 54s were boxer than the 53s. Was it still possible to order a straight 8 in 54?

    Nope, last straight 8 was 1953 in the Special.

    Yeah Nick, I'll have to admit, that hot rod in the pictures above doesn't look too bad, and actually suits the styling.

    The custom is a 2 door hardtop and the car for sale is a 2 door sedan, maybe that's why you like it somewhat. Even though I did own a 54 at one time, I'm not a fan of the sedan styling nor the rear fender semi spat looking style.
