61 Buick Column Shift Lever

    Does anyone make a different column shift lever for the 61 Buick? I need one that is bent/indexed upward a little more. In Drive, the shifter hits my knee.

    I know I can bend it but then I would have to get it rechromed. Trying to find and off the shelf solution. I purchased one from Summit but it is for a later GM column and the business end is different.

    The arm is not hardened so you should be able to put it in a vise & bend it.

    That would flake the chrome off of it. I shortened it. Problem solved. :D
