I don't think that is a Gran Sport. The engine is not a 401 (401's have the distributor at the rear of the engine - near the fire wall ...... the picture of the engine bay shows this engine has the distributor in front, more like the 300). Radiator inlet hose is on the wrong side also. I would question this one.

The ad does say it's a replacement 300 cid engine.
It does has the Gran Sport fender moldings and does not have the skylark full length side molding.
Also has the GS drivers side mounted battery and junction block on the inside fender..... and a custom loooong battery cable running to the passenger side starter!
Yes, wrong radiator and radiator top plate.
It could be a real Gran Sport, a pic of the cowl data plate may indicate it is or isn't.
A lot of the GS specific items were lost with the engine swap which hurt it's value.

If it has the boxed frame and the V.I.N under the drivers door matches then that would be proof positive its a GS.

I have everything to return that drivetrain back to a Nailhead/4 speed.

That missing glove box GS emblem is very hard to find.

    Hi,

Would be great if he held onto all the original 4 speed parts, as those are getting harder to find

    Regards,
    Jim
