HI all, briefly going to violet the rules but I need feed back. The wagon as stated above, I want to sell. But because I live in So Cal. many who many be interested live too far and with shipping rates touching a thousand bucks to the Ohio area, that may be a deal stopper. For the year etc., great shape with front bumper slightly mangled. No rust, even has original 3rd seat sun visors still in place. I know it depends on the price but would there be interest in the mid west and
East? Thanks. If so i will take gobs of pics, post a great deal of info and come up with a good asking price. I've checked some places and it probably be around 6K. Wagon runs. Thank you

Hi Joe. I'm actually in a little valley called Leona Valley. It's 12 miles due west, in the hills, from Palmdale/Lancaster, which is out the 4 about 30 miles or so. I'm about 45 minutes to San Fernando Valley.

HI Tom, O.K. today I promise to take and then post a bunch of pics
There is only the ignition key (replaced). I have no keys for doors or rear. All top glass is good and I think there is another piece in the back of the wagon, sort of a spare or something. Like I said, promise to post some pics later.

    will try posting some pics
This is purely an unmolested car. As far as I can tell, virtually no rust any place. So. Cal. car all the way. High school students from the auto shop, painted the car. It's actually not to bad. There is a box of new wiring etc., but I could not find it to take a pic.
I will be doing some research and then re-post with an asking price. Hope all is well

    May be a 66, and maybe a 340 engine with 4bbl, 'cause it isn't a 65.
    Looks solid.
    Good luck,
    Mike

Mike, I don't know about the engine but as it could be a 66 would that allow for this engine, smog pump and the whole nine yards?

I really don't know if 66 cars in CA had smog pumps, I'm way out in right field you know, OH. I have owned a 67 car from CA which did have the smog pump. Really sorry I can't give you a decent answer. Maybe someone will jump in and help us both learn something here.
How about taking a picture of the vin plate and the cowl tag, some can decode those for you too, but again, not me. I do know there are six numbers, then a letter, then six more numbers which make up the VIN on the driver door hinge pillar post. The last number before the letter is the year of model or manufacture, at least on 65 through 67 GM cars which I am somewhat familiar with.

Ya, a double check of my paper work says 66. Well the car is all there, unmolested, actually starts and runs. Smokes pretty good, so I'm going to post it over on the for sale part. Thanks all
