anyone know anything about a 66 apollo. i stumbled across one this weekend. (at a garage sale) im going back today to buy it.. hopefully its still there. never heard of one before i talked to the 80 yr old owner. poor guy is loosing his home and everything has to go. i need to talk to someone who knows the value of the dang thing..pm me with any leads please.

your correct. after doing a google search its a 66 GT 5000. buick frames were sent to italy, bodys hand made then sent back here to calif and buick drive trains were installed. only 80 were ever made. im just not a sportscar guy. im a GM guy. so was kind of hesitant to shell out 5-10k on at a garage sale. i think im going back today to buy it.... the wifes going to ****...

I'd be all over that thing, lots of questions about condition before a price could be thought about. Condition, condition, condition in old cars is the big question. I noticed a generator on the linked car instead of the alternator that would have normally been on a 300 SBB of that year. Never heard of these til now. Mike
