I had purchased the car all apart, body and paint is completed now.. The TH400 trans just has been rebuilt.
My question is that the rear extension housing is 4" long as its a mid 1970's one. I have the original 61"
drive shaft I have for it . The engine now is getting rebuilt. Will the driveshaft be correct?

The 1967 BA 400 would have been a short shaft 400 (4" extension housing) as well. Unless the front yoke is different, it should fit I would think.

Thanks Larry, All I see is the 6" or 9" extension housing listed for Buicks so I was concern.

The original yoke is 7 1/2" overall length and the internal splines don't start till 1 5/8" from end inside.
Hope that makes sense to understand.
