67 dual master cylinder on a 64: To O-Ring, or not to O-Ring?

Discussion in 'The whoa and the sway.' started by BamaWildcat, May 25, 2021.

  1. I have a 1967 dual master cylinder installed on my 1964 Booster. I'm getting mixed signals at to whether there should be a square cut O-Ring in that groove at the back of the master cylinder. My 64 booster has that rubber diaphragm as shown in the picture at the base of the pushrod. Anyone have an opinion one way or another?

    Thanks in advance.
