I know alot of the cars out there , the 69-72 are EXTREMELY POPULAR and so partts go up in price and demand... But for one I know that finding nice parts for 67( the odd year according to some) are even harder from all the researching I have done... I do not know how many 67 guys are out there, but when I posted a question on the GSCA, it went nuts with guys and their 67s... no offense to any of you guys, but to me, we are already being different with Buicks, now get some odd year, jesus people think we are a cult or something... Anyways, I would love to see parts for the 67s, anything you cannot get through like year one and other like places(grille,tailights ,etc)
hi jess, i undersand your fustration,Im Trying to build a 66 skylark where no one is making body parts for, The only thing out there is crap and very exspencive parts,Hopefully some one will start making parts for our year buicks! I hope its soon too !!!!
BUICK REPRO PARTS fOR EVERYONE WANTING SOME REPRO PARTS FOR BUICKS TO BE AVAILIBLE then DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND JOIN THE BPG !! This club will be the best garantee that some repro parts for our cars get made but we need a club member base and the funds from that in order to reach the goal of making the parts.If there were as many members of the BPG as there are members of the V8BUICK.COM board then I would dare say the BPG club could have a repro project in the works already.Remember all funds come back to the club members in one form or another as this is a true club so what is holding anyone back from joining up?
Rusty, well put........that is one of the BIG things that we dscussed in the early days of the club...."getting some parts reproduced". and as far as i know that is still the intention as soon as our base is well established. as you all know it does take time and money. so we wait. we wait because when we do that NEW 1970 g.s. grille for the club it will be perfect in every way. now,,,,,,,,,,, as far as the 66' and 67's go, i have 4 of them(2 of each) and they are my favorite body style as well. i understand what your talking about when you talk about finding parts for them.and yea i could use a new 67'grille myself. Jess i replied to your post on the G.S.C.A board on this subject and remember how the post kinda was there and then BANG !!! it just kinda went up...:TU: ......big time. i too didn't realize that there were that many left out there. kinda made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.anyways.........i would say dont give up hope. if we keep baggerin' everyone about it they will sooner or later listen:Brow: . glad to start hearing some 67' stuff again......... later...............................
