68 & 69 Skylark/GS What will Interchange

Just out of curiosity, as this is an older thread. Can I possibly make 69 vert doors work on a 68 vert, since the 69’s don’t have the vent window. Like it I got the weather stripping and stuff to make it happen, or are the angles different on the windshields?

 

Are the rear bumpers on the 1968 GS the same as on the 1968 Skylark?

 

Yes, same bumper. The GS had chrome/stainless strips on the horizontal ridges of the taillights lenses. The Buick Special version did not.

 

Just want to confirm that 69 skylark front bumper is identical to 68 GS front bumper and 69 skylark rear is identical to 68 GS rear?

 

Never mind I understand now about the backup lights holes being there in 69 and not in 68.
