68 big car rear lower control arm options??

This winter I want to add a rear sway bar to my Wildcat to get a little better highway stability. My rear lower control arms are pretty humble. To sandblast, box and install new bushings seems a little foolish. I’m hoping I can put something fresh in that will be sturdy enough to add the sway bar.

Any concrete suggestions on an a vendor?? Thanks!

I don't know what have you done already to your Wildcats suspension but imo you should start with beafier front sway bar wit poly mounts and poly sway bat end links, set of good like bilstein or koni shocks and maybe better steering box like Grand Cherokee upgrade. Rear bar is not really necessary, car is really on the oversteer side. If u are not goin to upgrade to uniball setup I would leave LCAs as they are. For good handling you want rear end to bind as little as it can.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Peace,
    Kacper.

Hmm I do have poly front mounts and sway bar end links. My goal is to effectively increase rear spring rate via rear sway bar. I think it will keep rear end better planted and better distribute weight in a turn.

Is your front bar stock or addco beafier one?
I implemented rear bar after front was in. And that with rear boxed arms with poly and panhard with poly made the car undrivable. Now with springs from 96' Roadmaster Station Wagon, spohn roto-joints and bilstein shocks it really handles. But it's just my opinion.

Have you considered a set of air lift 1000 bags to dial in your rear spring rate?
They seem to be more popular on this forum for lifting the rear end for tire clearance and occasionally for traction control.
For about $100 it might be worth a try.

That being said, please keep us updated if you find any LCAs that fit and sway bar options. Boxed LCAs and sway bar made a noticeable difference in my A body.

We may be overthinking this. I was out in the carriage house and I am 99% sure the a body lower trailing arms and the big car trailing arms appear to be exactly the same. I just held up an a body lower trailing arm to my Electra. I’m not sure that they aren’t identical. Anyone have a Hollander to confirm?
