This one found me and the colors and combination GS400 Convertible 3-speed manual
just had to be saved...Aqua Mist/White Buckets, White Top.
No power steering or brakes. Drums all around, just like I like.
    Console looks pretty good.
Holes and rivets for trim all gone, so I 'll have to find a deck lid. Hopefully the scoop can be saved.
Look at how the glass ws set- there is 1/3 inch gap between trim and the glass. NICE!

It is rough. Not too much rust but it is just so messed up. Taking it apart is no joy as every fastener seems to be random. Engine is held into mounts by 3/8 bolts with nuts for washers. Speedometer was held in by 3 screws and oversprayed with the black used to paint the dash. Sand up in the dash like it was blasted and never cleaned?

Seats were recovered and door panels but they must have JB welded the door handles and cranks on! I tried using a slide hammer to pull the door handle and it would not budge. No clip in sight. Parts car is coming next week!

Had to destroy door panel to get it off. I doubt if I can save the white knob and I need that thing.

Top works, engine turns, shifter seems to move ok. PO changed rear end which should be 3.42:1 . Now a 2.93 open. That has to get fixed!

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

A very cool, and rare, car Ted. I think the car has fallen into the right hands.

I may have a '68 trunk lid and could potentially bring it to the GS Nats next month if you plan to be there.

Awesome find Ted (or vice-versa). Car found the right person. Manual Steering & Brakes; If I was going to adopt a stepchild...

    Figures, I sold a '68 4-sp. parts car last year that had a 3.64.
