69 Buick 400 Valve Spring Retainers

Disappeared at machine shop. Have keepers but no retainers.

Need a full set.

Nolo at CARS, Inc & OPGI.

Used, NOS, or possible source would be appreciated.

If Bruno can't help I have a complete set with keepers we just removed to install aftermarket springs. Do you have new springs?

 

I am good with springs, but evidently spring retainers are hard to come by. Machinist has ordered spring retainers twice and received spring keepers both times, and was then told "Oh, spring retainers -- yeah, we don't sell those."

 

OK just wondered,I have NOS stage1 springs. Anyway, hopefully Bruno has you covered, if not let me know.

 

I guess you are better off getting them from Gary,as my parts are scattered all over the place,and I cannot as of now find them.Later,when I don't need them,they will show-up in front of my nose.And I can probably find used ones,but Gary has them handy,so deal with him.Bruno.

 

Well, at least you know you have them somewhere, unlike my machinist who flat-out lost them.
