Hi everyone. Andy from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I just bought a 69 skylark. It’s my first Buick and I’m starting to restore it to a good driver. I got it as a roller with new paint, body work, new full floors, trunk, and inner wheel wells. Mostly everything is there but a lot needs updating. Unfortunately, all parts are in boxes and I’m still trying to figure out what’s missing and what goes where. I am starting with a painless wire harness install, Kilmat sound deadening and rebuilding the 1970 455 that came with it.
Got lots of stuff to do, and I’m going to need parts, advice and will have a load of questions.

Good luck with your build. I have a lot of parts for a 69. I have dash pads, headliner, wheel well moldings, nuts, bolts, clips. I have a pair of 71 455 exhaust manifolds, a complete from drum brake set up, doors and a passenger side fender.
Email me at gs400jt@gmail.com and let me know what you need. I sold my 69 GS, so I need to unload the hoard of parts that I have.

    Thanks, John

you can tell it's a skylark and not a gs by looking at the hood. all GS's came with a air induction hoods

Those photos bring back a lot of memories for me since they look just like my "scarlet red" 68 GS400 when I drove it home from the paint shop (5 miles) while sitting on a milk crate... No trim, no interior.

That was back in 1986... I really miss that car..
