Does anyone make a reproduction horseshoe shifter mine is cracked at the bottom both sides?
Or can the the 70 model horseshoe shifter fit the 69 console?
    Thanks,
    Rob.

You can use a multitude of shifters. When I bought my GS in 1985, it had a Cutlass console and shifter. If you're keeping your original console though, that won't work. Not sure if 70-72 Skylark.GS will work in a 69 console. I'm sure someone on here has a shifter handle. I got one a few years back because mine broke at the base as well. The only reason it broke is because I hooked up all the column shift linkage to the trans so it would spin the column collar and actuate the reverse lights. It proved to be too much resistance and cause the handle to stress and crack. I since removed all that linkage and simply wired the console harness into the dash harness for all that stuff to work.

‘70-‘72 handle will work with no problem at all.
