69 Skylark Shifter

I have a 69 Skylark with factory buckets and center console. Will a 69 Chevelle Horse Shoe shifter fit in the Skylark console? I want to switch to a 4L80E and I see they sell 4 speed shifters that drop in the 69 Chevelle Console. If it would fit the Skylark it would make things a lot easier.

If not, does anyone have a solutions for this problem?

 

The chevelle shifter does not fit but the 70-72 Buick one does. Hoe you are doing well . Tony

 

A 70-72 shifter will bolt in place of the 69 shifter? Thanks for the feedback
