Original engine and transmission. New interior, new radio, new stainless steel exhaust and rechromed back bumper. New carburetor and distributor and radiator. New hoses and belts. Tires excellent treads. Rewired tail lights. Bought new in 70 sold in 75 to brother in law. Bought it back in 2013.
In the first picture it has a black vinyl top and stage 1 emblems. The headlight doors possibly look incorrect or possibly incorrectly painted? In the later pictures there is no vinyl top, has “350” emblems and the headlight doors look correct?
I spoke with the lady, her husband passed away, her dad bought it new, then her husband got it, now father in law has it. She got the pics from one of his albums; the vinyl top pic was put in there by mistake, she had no idea where that pic came from
Not sure I’d call $25k strong money. Someone likely lost their shirt,or at least the sleeves. Definitely couldn’t duplicate it for that. Body & paint alone can cost $20k now,and that’s if it’s nice to start with.
I lost my shirt on my last '70 350 4-sp. (so of course I'm doing another one, lol) but regardless, not too many 350 hardtop cars going for $25k.
I like that car too but it's a cobbled up 350 column shift. I have never seen one bring more than $25,000 I would take the money and run.
