I have a '70 Riviera GS that I'm yanking the motor and tranny from next weekend. The body is rusty, but it's got some rare options. 3.42 posi, F41, buckets, console, tilt column, power windows and locks and a complete cruise control set up. I may be taking the buckets, not sure yet. Has a really nice dash pad w/no cracks, a spare clean rear bumper and filler and deck lid. I don't have the time to pull and ship any parts, so the whole car would have to be picked up in Palm Beach, Florida within the next 3 or so weeks or it's off to the crusher.

    Your killing me here! :ball:
I wish you were in MN, or I was in Florida!
Actually, I wouldn't wish winter on anyone. I wish I were in Florida!
    Dang!
I don't suppose it has a good rear bumper filler? :)

I'd really like the console and shifter from that car.

    The rear filler is perfect.

No pics, the car is only good for parts. 2.5 hours from Ft. Myers to PB. Easy drive through Clewiston around the bottom of Lake Okeechobee. Someone with the time could make some cash parting it out. Come get it.

Let me see if I can come up with a place to put it (IE: schmoozing the wife for permission to have a "hulk" sitting around...lol). Definatley don't want it going to the crusher if there are good parts to be had.

    I'll do my best.

Hey, I will totally come up and strip it some this Sunday if no one wants the whole thing. Just a few minor things for me, but I'll pull anything anyone else wants too and charge next to nothing to do it.

If I did it, would I be able to pull parts Monday, too?

    Whereabouts in Palm Beach?

    Hey Steve,

It's all or nothing. I really don't want a stripped and un-movable carcass in my yard. If you want to take it home, strip it and sell the parts, power to you. I know that posi rear is worth some money, there are guys looking for them in the big car forum.

    Steve,
I know someone going down there in the next week who'd might be willing to pick up the rear end from you (for me) if you were willing to get the car and pull that off. I could understand if you don't want to as that'll totally make the car unmovable.

    Go Buick Go --

There's a 1970 Riv GS in the local U-Pull yard that should have a posi rear in it. Rear is still there, but one tire is on the ground so it's hard to do a tire rotation check.

Donny, I am near Lakeland and have a car trailer with winch and would be really willing to drive down and take that 70 Riv off of your hands! I can be there in 2 1/2 hrs and could help with eng/trans removal.I will PM my number if you want to call with directions and a date. Ted

Yeah, it's got the original rallies on it. It actually runs and drives right now, but no brakes. I've attached a pic I found. It's got a good spare rear bumper and deck lid. Remember, the body is junk, it's the posi rear and the other options that have value.

    Ted,

Once the motor is out, whoever shows up can take it. I won't need any help pulling the motor, but thanks for the offer.

    Ted,

PM'd you a few days ago and haven't heard back. The Riv is ready to be picked up. Let me know your plans by this weekend or I'm gonna have to send it to the crusher unless someone else wants it.

    Donny
