'70 Stage 1 455 SS Engine - $3,800

    See my posts above. What you have is a real Stage 1 VIN/tag, Trim Tag (melted now?), & the engine & trans #'s match the VIN. It's also the orig. Rear afaik but I don’t recall seeing the stampings. Put all that into another Skylark and you're back to where you started before the fire exc. the orig. hood is now toast (literally).

    If you're interested in doing so, I have a pretty rust-free '70 factory bucket seat, vinly top, Flint built shell I'd sell (11C). You'd need the correct 4-sp. Hump (I have that too) & to change the firewall over from A/C to non-AC. I'd also recommend an orig. 455 frame & preferably one from a Flint built car. The frame you have is from a 350 car. I'd only sell the stuff w/a signed affidavit that you'd never try to sell the car as an all-original Stage 1 4-sp.
