I don't know which colors went where and I'm away from my car for at least a week due to work... Each board has an input for a left side and right side blinker as I recall. I don't know why they did it that way I only connected 4 wires at each board.

You will need to pull out a volt meter or even just a test light would be fine to find which wire goes constant 12v with the tail lights on then find the wire that pulses 12v with turn signal on. The 3rd wire from the 1157 adaptor pretty much has to be ground.

So your 4 wires per board should be like is:

12v constant that you will need to run separately. (This one I remember as orange)
Turn/brake light (pulsing 12v with flasher or turn signal on)
Tail light (constant 12 with tail lights on)
    Ground (should never show 12v)

Sorry can't help more right now.

These things don't fit tried them on 4 different cars 69-72 GS They interfere with holes and you cant grind on the led board.Even if you start grinding up your tail light housing the lens would never make a complete seal and fog up.Lets see what Spaghetti has to say about this.

Yeah the fit is not 100% and especially if you are a purist (and with your list of cars I'm guessing you are). If you decide not to use them make me a decent deal and I'll take them off your hands. I would not be opposed to having a spare set on hand.

Dont hold your breath probably wont be soon they said they needed to get housings etc.. anyway couldnt wait as one side of my tail lights fell apart and had to do an immediate fix . Heres what I did to the lens to make the led plate sit flush .Grind on two center screw holes and used windsheild ribbon to make a nice seal and keep moisture out. They are way cool and super bright .Just disappointed that a USA made product couldn't be a perfect fit:mad:If they were some 1/2 price Chinese junk I wouldn't even be bitchin.

I thought they had housings the first time. Maybe there is that much difference from housing to housing.

I recently noticed on Digi Tails site that they now have 2 sections for their LED sequential tail light kits. One for '70/'71 Skylarks/GS, and one for '72s! This is new!! I emailed them the other day to inquire if they changed the design recently and was replied with the following:

"The only difference between the two is how they mount inside the housing.
    Everything else is the same."

If you read back in this thread you'll know that there are some fitment issues with their LED kits (at least for the "72s, which is my year. So, I'm wondering if this has been solved! The LED boards that I bought from them about 2 years ago don't fit inside the lenses, making it difficult to seal the lenses with the gasket. I still have never installed mine for this reason. Don't want to trim lenses (and no extra room on LED board for trimming).
So if the design is new, that's GREAT!! Wonder if they'd consider exchanging mine (which have never been installed, with a new set!)

You won't know till you call them, I would think that they would change them out for you, they should be able to tell that you never installed them (they may want to see that 1st) and exchange them for you...

Good luck, I'm still thinking about ordering these and installing them this winter...

Hmmmm, this is the second time that I've emailed Digitails about a fitment issue and received no response. They were quick to respond for any other query, in particular purchase info. After the first time they didn't respond, I sent a stronger toned email about their lack of response and was told that they were very busy with emails, etc, and planned on getting back to me (sure!).
Something to keep in mind if you are thinking of purchasing. You may not have any support/interest for problems that may occur.

I take that back DigiTails! Finally got a response today, saying that they would "absolutely" exchange them for me. Nothing goes further, in my opinion, than good customer service. I'm pleased, since it's a product that many of us would like to have.
    Thanks DigiTails.

X2. I was waiting to see how this would play out before ordering a set for my 72, may just have to add that to the winter upgrades list after all.

Yeah these guys are awesome, I killed the driver side led board on my set that I bought from them, I forgot to put the taillight gasket :Dou: So I called them ready to buy a replacement drivers side board, told them what happened and he said we'll send one to you, thats all he said, completely no charge, I was shocked, :) awesome.

Digitails had a known issue with most of the first batch of boards where they did not get a heavy enough layer of "varnish" on to protect them from moisture. When mine pooped out a couple years ago I stopped by their facility and they swapped them for me no problems. As others have mentioned with or without gaskets you will not get the tail light housings to seal properly. Using some heavy plastic sheeting I made shields that cover the top and sides to keep any water out. Usually when I washed the car I would see one of the lights flicker when the hose was running water over the housings. If you are seeing that happen you have a leak and the boards will likely fail sooner rather than later.
