Okay guys here's the deal. I called and talked to Sebastion Blicharz and he stated that they may have already done a set for a 70 show car. He said that they woould require a commitment of 25 units to be made in order to be able to break even on their investment. The price would definately be in the $200-$250 range as that is what they keep all of their product line prices at as a goal.

I talked to him for about 10-15 minutes and explained the possible interest and that around 20 people have already expressed interest in the past few days. He seemed very interested in working with us on setting us up for these. As a bonus, they would fit inside the housing and not have any effect on the lense therefore, they would fit 70-72 models. I asked him how to push this along and he said that they just need to verify the interest enough to make their money back on the investment. He said we can each email him telling him that we would each buy a set up and as long as they get at least 25 people to do so that they would do it.

    His email address is

    sb@spaghettiengineering.com

Send him and email and let him know you're interested and that I, John Poling, referred you.

    Thank you

Tgood deal, you one upped me I was about to ask if they could somehow work out the 70 in the 71.72 tails.
I take it this wiould be thew same for the front parkinglamp/turn signals?

Also did he mention anything about having to send out the buckets for them so they may take measurements?
I never got a responce from spaghetti themselves, but musclerodz, and they been dealing with spaghetti

ps.. how different are the 68/69s but seems like 68/69 lights may be too narrow..height wise

if we could somehow manged to make the led/board fit across the whole 68/72 range it would make things soo much easier/faster!

    Mike,

Sebatian said they would ask for 2 sets of the housing/lenses. I volunteered my 70 pieces and someone else volunteered their set as well. I think we'd need to make sure they got a set of 71's and 72's also so that they could be made to fit all 3 years. From what I can tell from pictures, the basic housings are the same except the 71-72 has the mounting screws down the middle instead of around the perimeter.

Now, the two people that lend their assemblies will probably get the LED boards for free. Sebastian also said that development normally takes around 6 months before they are ready to sell to the public.

They just completed a set up for the Fiero and are in the finishing stages for several Mopar vehicles.

I'm in and sent my email already.

just wondering cause mike from musclerodz asked for a set, but I couldnt due to it being my DD...which sucks for winters/hills

so good deal for you guys getting free sets lol
and yes, 71 set would be a good idea even though i'm pretty darn sure they're the same as 72

I'll be honest and say I'm not sure I want to send my only pair of taillights out to be tinkered with, especially since they are sort of tucked away with (on) the car in storage until March. But, maybe we should make sure that what they get are original BUICK taillights and not reproduction units, just to be sure there are no hick-ups with the fit of the final kits.

I'm assuming who ever does send in their taillights will get them back, correct? Or will they be "sacrificed?"

Sebastian led me to believe that you would get them back "not sacrificed". I will definately make sure before I send in my NOS lenses.

I;m sure you;d get them back haha

They just need them for measurements and mounting purposes.

ps.. we're all getting front lighting too correct!?
