That’s one of Tom Bakers cars so I’m sure it a winner. Beautiful looking car, I just hate rolling the dice on clones for resale as I always lose my butt on them which I can’t afford anymore these days. Definitely couldn’t build that one for that. Handsome ride either way
Nice looking car for sure. I'd bet for someone restoring a similarly optioned '71 GS convertible that a financial case could be made to buy/dismantle & use everything to restore the GS & sell what's left.
Just looked, it’s already SOLD. That was a lot of car for $38k, and I’m really not a convertible fan!
This car is so perfect. But I agree, if it could be put back together as nicely. To be honest, I think it would be just as cool , de-badged as a 455 Skylark convertible. The car Buick should have built to begin with, just like Olds and Pontiac did with Cutlass and LeMans.
Car belonged to Tom Paige (Friend of Tom Baker) the car sold to a collector in Hickory NC. The car was exceptionally nice. Hard to believe good deals are still available these days.
